Our Mission
Phoenix Fire mission is to teach, develop, organize, manage, and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life lessons and values such as character, teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. We aim to provide opportunities for both recreational players and those with a competitive desire to become complete players physically and mentally. Our programs cater to beginners through advanced players within the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Phoenix Fire Basketball (Program Division) operates under South Youth Sports, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through sports, mentorship, and access to opportunity.
Rooted in South Phoenix, we focus on developing young people into leaders both on and off the court. Our basketball program is committed to providing access to competitive play for youth in underserved communities, creating opportunities for those who may not otherwise be able to afford participation.
